To put it simply, I loved Forever Disguised. It revolved around Erica and Tyler mainly, who get married in order to protect the baby of The Crowned Prince of Andonia, and along the way, they discover love.
Book two of the Angel heart saga is so much better than the first one, in context of the matter, the dialogues, the plot, and the character building.
To be honest, I never shipped Erasha, I always hooted for Tyrica. They are adorable together, it’s like they were meant to be together from the start, but the evil author kept them apart ( haha, sorry Annie).
What I loved about this book was how Erica dealt with the choices she made in her life so maturely, unlike the first book. And the romance between Tyrica of course, do i even need to say that? The dialogues were simple and beautiful, the story made me snort with laughter in it. My mom actually stood for a while and stared at me making gooey lovey-dovey faces at Tyrica. She was worried about my mental state actually.
Now let’s come to what i didn’t like about the book. The first thing you would ask your child if he goes missing for a couple of months shouldn’t be what he thinks about the new factory/organizational project that took place after he went missing, what kind of parents do that?
Next, i thought that the author was forcing her readers to be okay with gays and lesbians. The characters were made to fight with other characters debating upon whether it was right or not. If it’s a sin, it’s a sin. It’s an individual’s choice to accept it or deny it. You can’t just force someone to be okay with things that are related to religion, no? Because let me tell you, doing that would have consequences.
All in all, I’d rate this book a solid 4.5 , because it deserves that. I can’t wait for the third and final book to be published. Annie Woods did a great job writing this romantic sequel to First Came Forever. I liked it so much better than the first book, and i would totally recommend this one to the fans of romance, humor, chick lit, ya and contemporaries. Don’t forget to buy a copy!
In the end, I’d like to say my thanks to the author, who sent me an e-book copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review. And I’m so happy to be a part of the blog tour and giveaway of this book. Thank you, Annie.
